WombWork Productions, Inc. utilizes the three-tiered mentoring system where the professional actors and performers of Nu World Art Ensemble mentor the young adults of Nu Generation Art Ensemble, who in turn mentor the youth members of Next Generation Art Ensemble.

Master drummers, dancers, and directors train the members of the art ensembles during their production seasons in order to develop their theatre performance skills to better enact social change productions.

WombWork Productions, Inc. has performed with many household names in the Baltimore community including: Johns Hopkins, Morgan State University, Coppin State University, FORCE: Upsetting Rape Culture, Youth Works, Great Blacks in Wax Museum, American Visionary Art Museum, Youth as Resources, and Artscape Festival.

Performances tackle relevant social issues endemic throughout the Baltimore community including: gun violence, domestic abuse, grief, drug/alcohol abuse, gang violence, sexual assault, and racial equity. Community performances also serve to enrich the local neighborhoods through cultural programs incorporating elements of traditional African dancing, singing, and performing with contemporary elements of hip-hop, spoken word, and rap.
